Punching bag
Cletus has already had her morning workout, but wait...she has her second wind. All the little jabs, kicks, rolls, etc. are small, painless, and endearingly sweet, but still sort of freaky. If I hadn't seen the ultrasound, I would swear there's a little alien in there trying to punch its way out of its pod.
When I was at my dental appointment yesterday, the cute young hygienist regaled me with stories of her Easy Bake pregnancy. I can only hope my labor and delivery goes as smoothly as hers: about seven hours total, and she said she didn't need an IV, let alone an epidural. She says she misses the little movements.

I miss the little movements. Even some of the more dramatic big movements. I don't miss the running to the bathroom every 15 minutes and the "can't get to sleep b/c my body is a punching bag" feeling. Knowing I'll never feel that again kind of makes me sad. But it's all amazing. Even the discomfort. Even the pains of labor. Just one huge fantastic experience. Enjoy it.
