Changing scale of time
Isabel will be nine months old in three days. As the cliche goes, "they grow up so quickly!" Where did nine months go in such a brief flash? I think the time scale has been altered; nine months minus three days didn't elapse so quickly when I was pregnant and waiting--with broad, puffy Hobbit-feet--for the arrival of our little Cletus!

I remember my nine-month wait, although it seemed more like 3 years with all the bedrest and hospital stay. My sister said also being pregnant from Feb. through Nov. probably made it seem longer. This time, I'll be pregnant through the holidays and through spring, which might help it seem like it's going by faster. I know the holidays always fly by, so maybe that will be true. :) Congrats on your little one turning 9 months... she'll be 1 before you know it!
