Free Cletus and Eeny

Fetuses no more, these two girls! Ah, la vie en rose... (though Webhamster thinks we shouldn't gender color-type)

Flying, fencing, and family fun

The Webhamster family unit just returned from a trip to Arizona for Webhamster to fence in Tucson and for all of us to visit his grandmother and aunt in Phoenix. It was a week of firsts: first flight for Isabel, first time Great Granny had met Isabel, first cactus encounter for Isabel (don't worry, it didn't end too badly)...

Of course, we were terrified that Teh Is was going to be that baby on the plane, the one who howls the entire four hours. What were we thinking? She was as calm and charming as always. We are soooo lucky.

More varmint problems

While walking Isabel to her day care center this morning, I noticed that the four pansies in a pot out in our front yard were missing. There were four little holes the size of the root balls in the dirt.

I'm guessing the culprit was one of those pesky squirrels. There was one looking down at me from the dogwood tree above the pot. We witnessed a squirrel destroying some tulips at a neighbors house a few days ago, so I'm very suspicious of this "wolf" in cute fuzzy clothing. But, one never knows; it could have been some person who took the flowers, maybe as a gift for a mother or lover or other.

At any rate, I'm pissed! I spent a lot of time planting flowers last week.
