Foot fetish?

I think my daughter must have a foot fetish. Every day, she takes all of my shoes out of the closet and takes many of my socks out and begins to put them in my underwear drawer. I've noticed that she also enjoys taking clothes out of drawers. She generally moves them somewhere else. Perhaps she is a little Martha Stewart in the making, reorganizing our home. I guess it's just a phase.

As abruptly as the waking and demanding to sleep with Mommy and Daddy problem began, it seemed to come to an end this past week. She slept five nights in a row without waking. I used a white noise machine playing "Summer Evening" sounds such as crickets and frogs each of those five nights. Maybe it's a coincidence? Last night, she woke at 1:10 but Webhamster and I stuck to our guns and kept putting her down each time she would stand in her crib. I gave her some water, changed her diaper, and put some teething gel on her. I lay on the loveseat in her nursery or stood next to her crib--not making eye contact--and gently rubbed her back. She was back asleep about 1:50. Let's hope the trend continues!
