Let them eat cake

I just polished off the last piece of birthday cake from Isabel's party. Somebody had to do it. It was too gorgeous to go to waste. Of course, Eeny will probably be doing cartwheels until the sugar is metabolized.

Happy Birthday Isabel!

Yesterday was Isabel's 2nd birthday. We went to the Zoo for a class especially for 2 and 3-year-olds. She got to pet a ferret, a chinchilla, and a bunny rabbit, and also got to feel a polar bear's fur. Today, we're having a party and her friends Zack, Lola, Luc, Sophie, Anneliese, and Adeline are coming! On Friday, we had a party with cupcakes at her daycare. Three days of partying for a 2-year-old.

Birthdays and Birth Day looming

I am hardly posting to the blog anymore. There are just too many important dates and deadlines coming up too soon. Isabel turns two this weekend. I'm turning 33 at the end of this month. Eeny will arrive in under two months. I have a dissertation to finish before the end of this semester.
